How my wandering began…
Born and raised in sunny southern California. During my college years I spent time in New Orleans, Phoenix and Atlanta. Professionally, I added Florida to the list before making my way back to Atlanta. I also spent good portion of my career traveling solo around the U.S. As you can tell, I’m definitely ready to pack a suitcase or my life for the right adventure.
I intended for my first international trip to be Paris for my 25th birthday, but I received my passport sooner than expected. So, I booked a trip to the Dominican Republic and with Paris lined up shortly after that I was hooked! My passion for travel only grew. And solo is still my favorite way to experience a new destination. Now, I don’t even refer to travel as a vacation if it isn’t international. Just a trip. And I still take a lot of those too.
At this point, I’ve been to about 40 states, over 50 countries, five continents…
And counting.
That said, please don’t expect my blog to be all that educational. Travel is amazing, the experiences are unique and there’s always a story. While I may drop the occasionaly travel tip, I’m here to give you the stories. And maybe encourage you to go out and get a few of your own.
Fair warning, the stories aren’t always pleasant, but they have made for great conversation over the years.
Please enjoy.
